Anyone else in the letrozole/trigger shot boat?

Morning all! Just looking for company/support really. Did one cycle of letrozole (5mg) and 250mg ovitrelle in September which did result in pregnancy but had a MMC at 7.5 weeks.

Finally ready to start again but feeling all the feelings...

Hi! I am sorry about your MMC😞 I just ovulated ( yesterday) on my 5th letrozole cycle. LOT of ovary pain and feeling very nauseous🤢 I'll only do one more and that's it then.
are you TTC your first child? How is letrozole affecting you?

@fedup2010 ah really! Is this your first cycle and first baby? I was really really tired during the days I was taking letrozole. Then felt better after day 7.

I have had my first cycle of letrozole 5mg and ovitrelle injection on day 10. I am in the TWW and waiting very very anxiously. I am not due until next week so I dont know what to think. No symptoms as yet...all just feel like PMS. I am ttc for 2nd baby...its has been 16/17 cycles. My first took 15 cycles naturally (slightly elevated prolaction). I have had my fertility tests again and all came back okay as well as HCG so just waiting!

@Jen05p it's my 5th letrozole cycle. TTC for 2nd child past 5 years. No diagnosis so far, unexplained infertility. 🥴 I am 39 now, letrozole was my 'last shoot'. I normally ovulate every cycle but my specialist thought we might give it a try anyway. I tried IVF but had MC at 11 weeks due to Subchorionic hemorrhage. That's my sad story shortly!

Thanks for joining in ladies! We're going for no 2! We also have a 27 month old boy who was conceived on letrozole. The clinic has since started doing ovitrelle shots as standard so I'll have that this time too.

I find the letrozole tough going if I'm honest, it makes me feel tired and shitty. I found the shot hard last time too but hard to know what parts were the shot and what parts the resulting pregnancy...

@fedup2010 I totally understand! I think I'll only be allowed to 3 more and then that will be it for us. I'm not willing to put myself and my family through more invasive stuff. God it's all so hard. I feel for you!!

How is everyone getting on? Any positives to share..

I am on my 2nd cycle of letrozole and just took the trigger shot last Friday so nearly into the TWW!

No positive from me I'm afraid. This month was a busy as I got two follicles and was advised not to chance it. I know someone who went ahead and one split so now they're having triplets!! Think I might take a break as I find the drugs so physically and mentally draining...

@fedup2010 sounds very similar to our situation. TTC 3rd for 6 years now (had a loss last year, with a hematoma). Started 4th Letrozole cycle now. Ovulated on others but didn’t get pregnant. How are you doing now?

Found this thread and thought I will share my experience too. 2nd cycle of letrozole plus trigger - trying for our 2nd child. TTC for about 3 years now, son is 7 years old (naturally conceived). The letrozole is probably ok for me but the trigger makes me feel like shit in the TWW. Maybe it’s also the stress of those two weeks, don’t know !
on letrozole, do you guys do continuos cycles or take a break after every 1-2 and then get back to it ? If this one doesn’t work we are debating if we take a break or just continue to 1 or 2 more. It does make my cycles shorter (30 days vs 35days) so some part of me likes it !
