Getting pregnant after termination (age 39)

Hi all, I had a medical termination on 23rd Dec after abnormalities were found on the 12 week scan. I’m wanting to get pregnant again asap, as I’m 40 this year. I’m really confused about ovulating. I tested positive for ovulating a few weeks are the termination and then started my period on day 28 (heavier than usual). But I’m now on day 18 of my cycle and have tested negative throughout using the Clearblue and Easy@home tests. Can anyone share any experiences of their cycles, ovulation and pregnancy after a termination? Thanks x

My second cycle after tfmr I ovulated 4 days later than I expected to… I use easy@home tests with the Premom app.
