Anyone TTC after mirena coil removal?

Hi! Just wondering if anyone is TTC after coil removal?

I had my coil removed on 29th Jan, positive OPK that night and ovulated the following day! Just started a withdrawal bleed at 2dpo so thinking this month won’t count for me. I’m TTC no. 3 and conceived the first two really quickly. Hoping everything is ok after the coil.

I had the Kyleena coil (essentially slightly smaller version of the mirena) removed in September. First period was a few days later than I expected but all periods and ovulation peaks since have been like clockwork. Was pleasantly surprised as was told it could take a few months for things to regulate. Still TTC #1 but our issues don't appear to by cycle related although I'm due to get bloods soon to confirm.

Me! I had mine out 10th jan, withdrawal bleed 14-15th. Been tracking opk since then as I had no idea of cycle. Just got my first high reading in them today so I’m hopeful.

with DD2 I had the coil out in the September, had to stop trying for a few months in the December. Started trying again in the April and got pregnant that month.

It can take a few months for your cycle to be regular. Before the coil mine was 28 days on the dot. After removal it was anywhere from 25-35 days, but still conceived quickly.

Ahh fingers crossed for you both! Great that you’re both ovulating and getting more regular cycles. I’ve ordered some more OPKs so I can keep an eye on them.

I’m hoping I have one before the end of 2023 but I do feel more relaxed about waiting as it’s my third. I was obsessed with my first!

Mine is coming out tomorrow!! TTC DC2, I'm 39 this year so feeling a bit anxious about my age. DS1 was conceived when i was 36 after 5 cycles in total following mirena coil removal but we had a MMC during that time. Cycles returned to normal straight away so hoping for the same this time!

Ah I’m still having a withdrawal bleed. I thought it stopped today as I had no bleeding until the evening but then it started! Just wish I was having a normal cycle so I could track.

How are you all getting on?

I ovulated on Thursday so I’m in TWW now. Already going mad 😂 it was CD 20 though so I don’t think my cycles are normal yet.
