Is taking myo and d chiro more effective than myo alone ?
I find it confusing as some sites say d chiro is the effective one at treating pcos but others say myo is the superior.

Has anyone had personal experience with using both?
What do you recommend.
Really want to try regulate my cycles and kick start ovulation and decrease my androgens without need for metformin as metformin is making me so ill.
What dose do you advise

Hi @Moonie84 there is a thread that got started recently about pcos and myo inositol its called TTC with PCOS, Metformin, Myo-inositol and Miscarriages sorry I'm not sure how to post a link to it. I've found it really helpful.

I took an inositol supplement that contained both myo and d chiro inositol, it also contained folic acid. It was a powder you take twice a day in water. I think it worked very well for me, I was able to lose weight and i got pregnant after 6 months

@birdywillow so glad that worked for you! Do you have the name of the supplement at all?

I read some conflicting studies regarding d chiro and that too much of it in your body can actually negatively impact your fertility as its been shown to decrease egg quality. Its naturally converted in the body to d chiro but some women have a problem with the conversion. Without knowing what bracket you fall into , I'd probably advise against taking myo with d chiro as you may actually may things worse.
Alot of companies have removed d chiro from their supplements now after these recent studies.
Myo is still regarded as superior .

My personal experience with d chiro is that it messed my cycles up a little.
I'm now back to taking just myo .
I take viridian powder and a sachet of infolic alpha
