Negative digital ovulation test but faint line visible?

Hi all

I'm cycle day 18, I'm pretty sure I've past ovulation now. I have a 29 day cycle and usually ovulate day 14/15 ish.

I've just done a digital test (the one with the smiley), and it showed a blank circle on the display (so negative), but there is the faintest of lines on the test itself when I ejected it.

Anyone shed any light why this might be if I've passed ovulation now?

Thanks

Ovulation test always have a a second line in my experience. However, it only counts as a positive if the test line is as dark as or darker than the control line. Hope that helps.

As above. Your body always has some LH so you’ll always have a faint line, on ovulation tests the line needs to be as dark or darker than the control line to be a positive

Thanks all.

It seems likely then that I've missed the ovulation window? Given my usual 29 day cycle. But I'm guessing there could also be a possibility that I haven't ovulated yet?
