Hey all, new to this thread and looking for sanity check more than anything! DH & I DTD 1 week ago, we are not strictly TTC but it was spur of the moment and afterwards I realised that it was at the beginning of my ovulation window. Immediately I had this really strong intuition that we might have conceived, and since the day before yesterday (1 DPO) I've had crazy sore boobs (they also look darker?), on and off cramping, weird pulling feelings in my stomach and a spot breakout that my pre-teen self would've been impressed by 😭
I've never been pregnant so I have nothing to compare this to, but I'm struggling to believe I would have symptoms so early? What's confusing me is I was on a 5 day course of prednisolone last week due to an asthma flare up, I know steroids can mess with your hormones so I don't know if I've just had more full-on ovulation symptoms than usual (I do normally get ovulation cramps) as a result of the steroids in my system. It's just weird that all this has come on after I finished ovulating and over a week since I finished the steroids.
Could I really be feeling pregnant only a week after conception? I don't know if I just got in my own head, but I did certainly have a gut feeling I was going to be pregnant, which I've never had before and can't really explain 😵💫
Any thoughts? Driving myself crazy and don't want to say anything to DH or anyone else yet in case I've got it completely wrong and it's just the steroids wreaking havoc with my hormones!! Thanks in advance for reading x
