Hi there.

so I’m 42 and last in December I very unexpectedly found out I was pregnant (my husband and I thought we were done and I thought I was peri meno) any way sadly that ended in a traumatic miscarriage at 7 weeks after a scan and PUL suspected ectopic.

Lucjiky I miscarried naturally with any medication. It lasted 4 days and on Tuesday gone I got a negative pregnancy test.

this wasn’t my first loss. I took a AMH test and my egg reserves are higher than avg for age ( I was diagnosed with pcos when trying to conceive my son, had ovarian drilling) but at the miscarriage scan the gyny specialist said I didn’t have pcos) however, higher than avg egg reserves are inline with that.

hubby did an at home sperm test and showed low to normal.

anyway

I started to track ovulation from the mmc with bbt but also started using the clear blue advanced ovulation

CD 9 - low
CD 10 flashy
CD 11 flashy
CD -12 today this morning but now at 4pm it’s solid.

I did use these when ttc 8 years ago and it was the month i didn’t i got my sticky bfp.

so my question is. Has anyone successfully gotten pregnant the month after an mcc and also has anyone had flashy face in the am and solid in the PM

we dtd cd 9 and 11 and will tonight and the next 3 - 4 days

That's exactly what you are looking for with those tests.
Flashy = oestrogen increasing = ovulation coming soonish
Solid = LH peak = ovulation imminent (any time in next 12-36 hours)

LH tends to peak later in the day, so more likely to find the peak in an afternoon test.
So - perfect result.

I didn't get pregnant in the first cycle after my mc, but plenty of people do.

Thank you. I tested at 6am and it was flashing something just told me to test again this afternoon and I was surprised. Hopefully we will dtd enough but who knows.

it took me 1 year to the day of my mmc to get a bfp I don’t think I’ve got it in my to try that long this time, especially at my age.

how long did it take you?

Still trying! Had a mc in September, so had 3 normal cycles since.
I am ancient though - 45! So quite resigned to the fact that it may not happen now. I do have 3 older children to keep me busy.

I was quite shocked when the Amh test said higher than avg for my age. We’ve been unprotected for 2 years so not holding hope up.

not seen a temp rise yet and Fitbit reckons my ov day will be Wednesday, but if the ov test is right I should ovulate anytime today/Tom. Not sure hubbies got it in him
