I am either about to start mine, or just at the very beginning. Not got sticks to pee on just yet!

AF (hopefully won't be) due 8th-12th Feb.

My EWCM has arrived like my body just turned a tap on, TMI but it's crazy today. My sticks are showing up as very near ovulation, the test line is just ever so much fainter than the control. Kids have been packed off to grandparents for the night 😂 DP is in for either a endurance fright or the time of his life tonight 😂😂😂

@Pitstop1986 I find CM really varies for me month to month, I don’t think it’s a good indicator for me and I can’t remember what it was like for me in the cycles where I’ve fallen pregnant. But sounds like you’ve done all you can! Insurance bonk 😂

Ladies - I got my static smiley this afternoon (Australian time) 😁So we dtd 3 days ago, tonight and will go again tomorrow night. My mother in law is coming to stay from tomorrow night, so tomorrow morning will be our last chance. Then we enter the TWW!

My LH levels seem to be reducing so I assume ovulation has happened? I'm not sure

I'd take it that you hit your peak if lh levels are reducing, although carry on checking just to be sure.

I got my peak late last night/this morning, so would be nice to join in as I’m in the same boat as you all!

This is my first cycle using OPK sticks and it’s been an eye opener. I thought I was ovulating at around day 15, but actually have only peaked now (day 19). So I’ve massively missed my window for the last 4months since coming off the pill. We dtd this morning and have done it a few times in the past 3 days so think I’ll back off now, think my partner thinks I’ve gone mad as I’m usually not so keen 😂.

I think all DPs end up thinking we've lost the plot lol. My DP told me "his mate" needed some annual leave 🤣

@OnNaturesCourse @HoneyBlossoms112 as we are only just starting, I wanted to take a more relaxed approach to it and not stress/put too much pressure on DH and try and just enjoy it for now. So when I told him I had hit the peak so let’s get going for a couple days, he said ‘DAYS!’ Poor bloke thought it was a one off time around ovulation. He said it was something he could get on board with though. 😂

@Pitstop1986 As I have come off the pill, I haven’t had AF yet. I know they said you should have at least one AF after stopping the pill, but the idea of a late Oct/Early Nov baby was nice, so we thought yolo. I’ve seen people testing at 8 or 9 DPO, but I would be scared I’d be setting myself up for disappointment as it would be too early? When do you think you’ll test?

I think trying to be relaxed about it is a good approach. I’ve got the same attitude, fully not expecting for it to happen right away, but would be super thrilled if it did.

I’m enjoying learning more about my natural cycle, feeling more in tune with myself because of it.

I’ll probably wait and test the day AF is due… if I can hold out!

@Pitstop1986 though I try not to be, I am definitely an early tester! In my last pregnancies l've always had a positive by around 10 dpo so this really does not help my self control to wait until AF is due! I'll probably test tomorrow.

I'm not super hopeful about this cycle, I'm 6/7 dpo today and I've usually had sore boobs by this point but every pregnancy is different so there might still be hope 🤞

I am a early tester too - 9 or 10 DPO with my previous pregnancies. But last month I had a positive at that time and it was either a false positive /dodgy test or a very very very early loss, I'll never know which. Its kinda put me off testing early BUT... I'll see how I feel next week lol

Got crazy EWCM today. Like I feel like I need a nappy sort of thing, my LH levels are still decreasing too so I think ovulation has happened?

@cocoforbes that's exciting! Very promising. How are you feeling? Any symptoms? My boobs are getting to agony stage which is unusual for me at this stage, normally happens a few days before AF. I've also been sleeping 10 hours a night the past 4 nights.

@LittleMiss2023 i tested for two days after and seen it decreasing. I ran out of tests at that point and as we won't be trying again next month I didn't want to spend money on more. I'm just taking it that ovulation happened. I'd previously have tested for the week after tho but I think that's maybe partly because I am addicting to peeing on sticks haha.

@OnNaturesCourse completely relate to the peeing on sticks. @LittleMiss2023 i’ve also been LH testing the last couple of days to double check but my natural cycles app seems to have identified ovulation on 27th with both my temp and LH tests

I am currently on cycle number 4 now.
6dpo today! I don’t usually test until 12dpo at least but when I had my chemical in November they were positive between 12-14dpo then went negative so I’ll be waiting for AF most of the time now.

how is everyone else?

@OnNaturesCourse soon as you get the 1st positive ovulation test you don’t really need to test anymore, but I usually test positive 2 days in a row then it goes negative when ovulation has occurred. X

@OnNaturesCourse no obvious symptoms, I have been tired and more out of breath the last few days, I have been skiing so I though I had just pushed a bit hard but I think it is probably a symptom as I remember being more out of breath was one of my first symptoms with my first pregnancy. Will keep you updated!

@LittleMiss2023 I also stop testing ovulation after I get my peaks.

I’m only 3dpo so too early for any progress reports yet. I’m knackered, but definitely due to work travelling and not any good news!

Ain't it sods law that during my fertile window I was uber busy and now I'm in the TWW I literally have nothing extra on the calender to keep me busy.

I know 3DPO symptoms are impossible but I swear my boobs - argh - I just want to take them off, they are so tender and achy. My mind is clearly having fun winding me up.

@OnNaturesCourse @cocoforbes @JJ2023 So this is my first cycle trying, had the flashing smileys for 6 days and then finally got my peak which stayed static for 48 hours. Out of curiosity, I wanted to see what happened after the static. So I tested again once it disappeared and it was blank. Next day, flashing again. Hopefully not ovulating again this week cause my MIL is staying with us this week so the thought of BD with her here - not ideal 😂
Hopefully it’s just the LH surge decreasing after ovulation?
