Bfp from sex the day of ovulation, is that possible?

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has any stories of bfp from sex on the day of ovulation?

Basically I've ovulated 5 days early and only had chance to have sex the afternoon of the day I ovulated. The info on google is so conflicting surrounding how long it takes for speed to reach the tube. It ranges between 45 minutes to 48 hours!

Yes it is, usually it’s advised to have sex on the days leading up to and the day of ovulation for the best chance

This is from a research article that was published. 0 is the day of ovulation so as long as you're sure it was definitely the day you're ok

Hey just wanted to keep this thread updated. Now it's still so so early as I'm only 6dpo, but look!!

@overthinkersanonnymus so glad you posted this. We BD’d CD 14, 15, 18 & 19 got solid smiley on CD 16 but DH was away CD 16 & 17 and I ovulated on 18th (lots of EWCM and libido through the roof) then next day felt a massive drop in mood and like it had peaked. I’m really hoping we caught it on the 18th but who knows !

@MrsSB2023 now this could just be a pink evap but Ive done about 100 of these tests (im not even joking) and never had anything like this.

@MrsSB2023 just some sharp cramps but that's not unusual for me and to be honest, I think it might be a faulty test. I've retested and it's negative.

I'll do another in the morning just to confirm x

Well it was Definitely a faulty test, BFN this morning

I'm no scientist but I was under the impression that false positives were practically impossible because of the chemical reaction that takes place 🤷🏻‍♀️
