So, this month is SO different to all of my other months . .

Af symptoms most months for me;

Hot flushes and irritable the day before af
Cramps the week leading up to af that gradually get worse
One or two spots on my face the day before af
Headache the day before af
Sore boobs the week leading up to af - usually so sensitive that it’s uncomfortable to lie on my side/touch them

What I’m experiencing this month;

Very mild cramps/heaviness for just a few moments on and off when standing for 6 days now - not getting any worse at all
Itchy skin - arms and legs feel really dry and scratchy

Extreme tiredness - had to nap in the day which I never do unless I’m unwell

Extra hungry for the last 4 days

Mild nausea the past 3 mornings - mainly when brushing teeth

Very gassy/trumpy for the past 5 days

No hot flushes or irritability

No spots
No headache
No soreness to boobs at all

BUT I am due on tomorrow and I just got yet another BFN 😫 I have regular 28 day cycles and when I was using ovulation strips I always ovulated around cycle day 14. This is our 8th month of ttc our second child and I am 40 this year so I want to conceive asap. I have been testing daily for the past 4 days but only with the one step cheapie test strips that I bought online. I have some clearblue digital tests arriving either today or tomorrow in the post and I’m hoping that the cheapie tests are wrong 🙏 Any words of encouragement for a frantic two-week waiter would be much appreciated. Thanks ladies ☺️

Forget the symptoms

follow the tests

My only advice is to not get your hopes up too much. I had a very similar situation as you last month, had loads of symptoms I simply never get, some not even when I'm ill and all of them were pregnancy symptoms. Was utterly, utterly convinced I was pregnant, certainly when my period was late, but alas, BFN. Then my period showed up. I was still somewhat convinced because of the symptoms, thinking maybe I was that one person who had negative tests and a period and was still pregnant, but several tests later it was still BFN. It sucks to say but really all you can do is wait, then test, then wait some more and test some more. I'm crossing everything that this is your month though, absolutely everything! 🌻

@Lheuredubebe thank you so much. I know I’m clutching at straws now but it’s so difficult not to get carried away. I hope you get your bfp soon 💐

I know you’re right; my head says ‘follow the tests’ but in my heart I feel differently. The odd post you read of someone who only tested positive after their missed period is maybe giving me false hope 😭

@Devineursula I know you’re right. Too many posts around of people who didn’t test positive until after their missed period 😭

Honestly op… every time you think you sense a symptom, make a conscious effort to squash the thought. It’s a hiding to nothing

Any good news op? My V day dc is 15 this year on November 5th!
