Hi
I came off the contraceptive pill in October and TTC.
My periods surprisingly were back to normal by December. My last period was due on Sunday but obviously hasn't arrived.
I tested before this and everyday since and all are clear negative. Is this common? Has anyone tested negative to then find out at a later date they were pregnant?
Don't want to get my hopes up but I have experienced nausea regularly over the last 2 weeks, I have went off eggs and coffee that I usually have both everyday, experienced 3 days of migraines which is not normal for me at all, feel a little bloated and experience diarrhea all week so far. I haven't got sore or swollen breasts. Last night I had cramps quite low in pelvic region and thought my period was going to arrive today but still nothing. I definitely have some discomfort in my abdomen though. I don't want to get my hopes up!! Would maybe be too good to be true after only 2 full months off contraception?! For reference I am just under 30 years old and my partner is 39.

I also came off the pill in October. My first cycle was 27 days which was surprising to me! My second then went on and on and lasted 38 days. AF has just started again so third cycle is 35 days. So it's not unusual for things to go a bit haywire with cycles post pill.

You could get a late BFP however some of the symptoms could just be from coming off the pill. It's a waiting game and so frustrating!

I said I wouldn't but just tested again and still negative. I didn't really think it would take this long after coming off the pill to regulate everything. I really wish I came off it sooner but sure, it is a lesson learned. My breasts aren't sore or swollen but did notice nipped very sensitive and a bit painful. I just don't know. I have an egg everyday for about 5 years as I'm vegetarian and I get my protein from things like that so I shocked myself when they were making me gag recently. And went without coffee totally for a week days...only started again yesterday to have coffee. Had an egg last night and forced myself to eat but just no enjoyment at all.
