Clearblue Fertility Monitor

Hello!

After losing our second child last year we have decided to try again. I purchased the Clearblue ovulation tests which I didn’t find useful in the slightest. So I purchased the Clearblue fertility monitor in hopes it would help us over the next couple of months.

I thought I’d reach out to see if anyone else has tried it and to see how successful people were with it, if at all?

Thanks in advance :)

I used it for 2 cycles I think it was a but no luck, it wasn’t bad though and it was easy to use, only negative was that you can only test once a day in the morning and I always got my peak in the evening so would show on the monitor the next day!

I see! That’s a good point to make. I’ve got a couple of fertility apps too which I’m also going by to leave no room for an unsuccessful cycle. Keeping things crossed. Have you been successful since? (If you don’t mind me asking!)

@pumpkinspice29 I used the cheapie LH strips just in case anyway🤣 Yes fell pregnant either the next cycle or the one after I can’t remember which cycles I used the monitor now!

LampHat · 16/01/2023 20:22

I used it! First month successful after trying 5 months without it. (Also used cheapie strips because what kind of a saint can stick to testing once a day?!)

pumpkinspice29 · 17/01/2023 10:08

@ChloeN I had some cheap strips before and they didn’t work either which is annoying! Fingers crossed this works for me!

@LampHat Aw amazing! I’m glad to hear it worked for you. I have a 35-37 day cycle so I’m hoping it works well for me. Haha, I tested twice a day with the other Clearblue ovulation sticks and I have to admit it only picked up ovulation in the evening but nothing came of it :(

Any news? I have just started using clearblue monitor

pumpkinspice29 · 07/05/2023 11:15

I fell pregnant within a month of using it! I’m not entirely sure when we would have conceived as it highlighted my “high” chance of conceiving as soon as I finished my period. And once it highlights a “high” chance, it doesn’t change until you have a surge and my surge never shown up. So I wouldn’t say it was massively accurate showing me on the monitor - but it definitely worked. I’m now 16 weeks pregnant🙂

Best of luck! Xx

Congratulations and thank you so much for replying back xx
Today I just randomly wanted to try a pregnancy test because I read in another chat when the pregnancy stick was removed there was a very faint line and that was the same for me but the monitor showed negative. Was is it the same for you before you tested positive? X

pumpkinspice29 · 07/05/2023 23:08

Thank you!

I didn’t use the monitor to test pregnancy. I just had a feeling I was pregnant so I took the early Clearblue and it came up on the digital. I was then curious and tested on the monitor and it said negative.

I would test with an individual test rather than the monitor.

I didn’t think the monitor was as accurate as I imagined that it would be.

Good luck & keep me updated xx

I’ve been using Clearblue Digital ovulation test for more than a year now and on my 2nd cycle with the Advanced Monitor.
This week the Digital Ovulation test showed peak on Day 14 of my cycle, however the Advanced Monitor showed peak on Day 16 and Day 17.
So which one of these tests should I trust the most I wonder, very disappointed and confused that they show different results when measuring the same hormones.
Anyone else experienced this?

Ncl31 · 20/07/2023 09:21

I have been looking at this monitor too.
i didn’t track ovulation this month but had ovulation bleeding a few days ago with some cramp too.
my grandfather died this week but we still managed to DTD, this is my first cycle since our wedding too. Trying to stay positive but if I don’t get a BFP this month then I’m going to try it

I used to use different monitors, but now my favorite is the iyoni app. In my opinion, it's the most accurate and offers many cool features that other monitors lack.
