27F My last period was Dec 18-22, based on symptoms and my cycles app ovulation was about the 29th or 30th. Me and my husband had a wild weekend with lots of smoking and drinking from the 29th to 1st and if my hazy memory serves me right we had sex at least 9 times over that weekend and he has ZERO pull out which isn't great when coupled with alcohol/weed and a man with a high sex drive 🫠I have a genetic condition EDS3 that's caused profound disability and I've had 4 bone surgeries from feb-august 2022 and have more coming up in march and may and I don't want children to avoid passing it along and possibly unaliving myself or making my situation considerably worse trying to incubate/gestate. My period is about 3 days late and my cycles average about 25-27 days like clockwork since I was 14 after starting them at 11/12. I've been pregnant in the past but thankfully miscarried the first one very early in and didn't even know until it happened and I was about 15/16 and I had these white tiny blobs or specks that appeared on both nipples and my older/adult sister at the time advised me squeeze them to see if it's a blocked pore or lactation and turned out to be lactation, it happened again the second time I got pregnant at 18 but also thankfully miscarried then and a few days ago those white blobs have appeared again and my boobs started hurting shortly before but not like the usual PMS boobs it was more up to my armpits so now I'm shitting myself 🙃 What's strange is I've been having period like cramps since about 7dpo but no bleeding and I've seen very very very minimal light pink spotting here and there since 7dpo if I wipe.
Only BC that works for me is combined pill but drs won't prescribe it anymore because of a past history of migraines despite me not having one and being on preventatives since 2016. I had the nexplanon implant and that gave me a 6 month heavy period requiring blood transfusions after passing out and landing head first onto the uneven London pavements - IYKYK- the mini pill triggered off inflammatory reactions in my wrists back in 2017 and I'm still affected by it after only 9 weeks on it and I've lost significant bone density in my hands as a result of it. I'm also allergic to just about everyfkingthing and have yet to find a brand of condoms that doesn't make me itch and burn for days after even the poly ones burn horribly 🥲 I'm not doing the IUD because of my condition making my organs fragile and my mum has very similar symptoms but no dx and had me and my twin on her first one and when we were 12 years old her third IUD migrated up out her uterus and ended up in her kidney and required a total hysterectomy at 40 so drs have advised against it for me and I'm scared to try the depo shot in case it worsens the joint inflammation and bone density loss from the mini pill and I gotta go through pain and locked joints until it wears off and now I don't know what to do. I'm happy being an aunt and definitely not mentally nor emotionally mature enough to be a parent and a child would make me feel trapped as my lifestyle doesn't align with motherhood/I'm selfish and I don't want to destroy my health even further so if there's any decent BC that doesn't mess with joints pls let me know 🥲
