Struggling to get pregnant!

My husband and I have been trying for a baby for 10 months now... I've been tracking ovulation, we've been having sex regularly etc, I'm taking pre pregnancy tablets go try and help... and still nothing. Each month I get my hopes up but still get negative tests! Past few days my nipples have been hurting which never happens before period, just boobs do. Taken a test ans still negative. Period is due in two days!

We have 2 kids together already and instantly fell pregnant with both of them with in a month of trying.
Honestly feel like each month that passes, my heart crushes more and more!!

Any tips or advice you can give?

@jade3105 sorry to hear it’s taking longer this time, it must be difficult. I haven’t got any advice so to speak, but me and my DH are going to TTC from April, and we also have 2 DC already. We also conceived very quickly with both, and I do worry we could struggle with a third, I just have a niggling feeling.
Has there been many lifestyle/ health changes since your last pregnancy which could be affecting anything?
My youngest is 2, but I am 33 and had some health issues since he was born. My DH is 44, so I do worry it might not happen quickly x

Hey! Thanks for your response. No changes have happened which would lead me to thinking its effecting me getting pregnant. My husband doesn't know why it's not happening as easier as before either... just so upsetting month after month! I'm taking all the right vitamins, ovulation sticks etc and still not pregnant. I have literally just got off the phone with my husband and us saying it's exhausting trying so hard, calculating ovulation, remembering pills everyday! I'm so exhausted and so close to giving up :( x

10 months is within the normal window and likely to just be bad luck. If you or your DH are older, it might also be age contributing. You're doing all the right stuff. Maybe just have a think about both of your weights, diet, alcohol use. There are also conception vitamins for men too.

Hes 33, I'm 29. We've thought about everything, our weights are fine, I don't drink... husband does but a couple beers at weekend. Just frustrating!

Hi op! I have 2 children from a previous relationship but me and my husband have wanted to have another so dc3 for me we started trying 2018 and nothing was happening I conceived with my other 2 pretty much straight way went to fertility was told unexplained infertility as both our tests weee perfectly normal other than I had low vitamin d and told we would need ivf was not in the right place to go through with that for me and was unsure if that's what I wanted so we decided to wait and just carry on and see what happened down the line anyway 4 years later I'm now 26 weeks pregnant no ivf so thought I would share and hopefully give you some hope that sometimes it just takes time don't give up!!

@Heath2330 thank you for your reply! That's amazing for you congratulations!!

Honestly- I don't think I can take much more waiting lol. My husband and I have put a deadline in place, if we don't get pregnant by then. I'll have to go back on contraception as we have things planned in life that we have put on hold for a baby.

How old are you ?
You have 2 kids already together so unless your an advanced age or your lifestyle has drastically changed I would give it time.
If under 35 gps advise you should wait 2 years before seeking help or if over 35 years its 6 months .
I've been struggling to get pregnant with my partner for 17 years and last month we conceived our miracle but unfortunately lost it very early.
I wouldn't panic yet if I was you , 10 months isn't that long to be trying
