Hi there has anyone else had a super faint positive like this then a couple days later nothing?

I’ve had backache, headaches, sore boobs, nausea for the last 3 mornings & shocked to see BFN each day.

I am 12DPO today and have included the super squinter on the 9DPO (yellow one) test I did along with todays. (Whiter one)

my phone won’t pick up the line on the test from this morning as I saw it after the 3 mins but there’s something there right? Or am I going crazy with line eyes.

I guess just looking for some positive stories on late BFP 🤷🏻‍♀️

Sorry OP, but I can't see any second lines

iGotADilemma · 12/01/2023 16:50

I can't really see anything either, sorry! But I hope you get a BFP soon. Keep testing

Ewxik · 12/01/2023 18:23

Hi there.
I definitely see the line the one from 9dpo and 12dpo looks lighter. I think it should go darker by now. I'm on the similar boat tho. 12 dpo today, all pregnancy symptoms but even FRER negative 😔.

Twoinapod · 12/01/2023 18:52

Looks like an indent on the first one, definitely nothing on the second one. Sorry @UKMummy2one theyre negative

UKMummy2one · 12/01/2023 19:58

Yes I think you’re right, i think as I had a vvfaint positive at 9DPO with my daughter I expected the same this time round and got excited when I saw this.

@Ewxik what symptoms have you got?

I’ve started with very creamy and slightly watery cm yesterday and today again. Just started to feel nausea again which is odd as it’s only been on a morning so far

I feel like I can see a line on the left photo (where the screen is more yellow) x

UKMummy2one · 12/01/2023 20:27

Yes I think as the others have said it must of been an indentation line as that’s what I’m seeing daily and thinking it’s a faint line but never gets stronger 😔

Sorry, OP, I don't see the line either.
As @cat709 saud, there's a faint line in the 9DPO test but I'd put that down to an evaporation line and not a true postive.

Good luck though! I hope you get your BFP soon 🍀

Ewxik · 13/01/2023 17:27

I had all of them: cramps, nausea, breast pain, tiredness, being thirsty (I had that with my son). My boobies doesn't normally hurt before period but this time they are, on and off, they bigger and veiny. I did FRER yesterday and was negative (12dpo). I feel like af is coming, because of the cramps, they got more intense that few days ago. I'm sure she will come tomorrow. My body played tricks on me.

UKMummy2one · 14/01/2023 09:45

Okay soo now I’m not sure what to think. I am 13DPO today and I swear I can see this line more clearly.

is it another indent?

I can see it 😁 did it come within the time frame? Fingers crossed for you🤞😉

B1993 · 14/01/2023 10:05

I see the line!! Not sure if it's any darker than previous tests though. From initial 9DPO to todays 13DPO, you'd expect to see a noticeable difference.

Here are my FRER from 10 and 14DPO (initial pos on One Step strips at 8DPO) so you can see line difference over 4 days.

Hope it is a true positive for you but I'm always so weary with this brand - a quick Google will tell you why!!!

I can see a very faint line this time OP 🤞

UKMummy2one · 15/01/2023 10:00

Did another last night but on a CB and got this faint line that is still visible and light blue this morning.

this morning I’ve done another CB test, collected my urine as couldn’t hold it and tested it after waking a couple of hours later and nothing 🤷🏻‍♀️

@UKMummy2one, I also had stronger lines in the evening! My worry would be that your faint lines aren't progressing and it's been several days now so you'd expect a much clearer/more visible result.

I would contact your doctor and ask if they can do a blood test to check if hCG levels are rising normally. If not, Holland and Baretts do home test versions (they are quite expensive at £50-ish each and you'd need two) so not sure if that would be an option.

Twoinapod · 15/01/2023 11:59

@UKMummy2one when you say collected it and tested a few hours later. Do you mean you collected your urine, left it for a few hours and then tested it?

UKMummy2one · 15/01/2023 12:11

Yes, should I not of done that?

it was about 5am and dark so left it until 8am to test

@UKMummy2one, this is fine as long as the urine is left at room temp. I read somewhere that you can leave it for up to 10 hours so 3 shouldn't matter. I have also done this before when I woke up at 4am and didn't want to properly wake up yet. My results weren't effected.

UKMummy2one · 15/01/2023 15:11

@B1993 ahh okay I have ordered some FRER that are coming later so may test tonight to see if this theory of evening testing seems to be correct?

I can see this blue line so clear on the test I took last night, just can’t understand why it would be totally negative the next morning.

time will tell I guess I know CB have a higher chance of false positives

OP posts:
B1993 · 15/01/2023 16:49

Here are my strip tests from 9DPO am/pm - I definitely feel like the evening line is darker, although not by much.

I have never experienced a postive and then negative the next morning, even with my initial very faint lines. For me, the lines were always as darker or darker every time I tested.

I actually think CB is a lot more reliable than FRER right now but both brands don't seem to be giving a very clear answer, even after 4+ days, so I'm not sure what to suggest. 🤔

UKMummy2one · 15/01/2023 18:28

@B1993 ahh yes I can see what you mean. Thank you for sharing.

my bfp with my daughter was 9DPO and super faint but deffo got darker no matter what time of day.

I believe the line I saw at 9DPO this time round was an indent and yesterday could have been the first positive, and that implantation possibly has occurred later.

average 8-10 days after conception but I’ve read so many women having positives up to 18DPO 🤷🏻‍♀️

im staying positive and will update you once I’ve done another / in a couple of days

B1993 · 15/01/2023 19:11

@UKMummy2one, yes - that's a good point about the inital tests being indents and the more recent CB tests being a true positive!

I hope that's the case for you - fingers crossed you get an undeniable BFP soon to confirm! 🤞🏻🤞🏻

UKMummy2one · 15/01/2023 19:55

@B1993 just had the FRER arrive and negative all I can see is the indent line again 😔
