Line eyes and very confused - HELP PLEASE

Morning everyone! I'm confused and hoping for some advice. My period is a day late and felt a bit crampy in bed last night. Got up this morning, used a FRER and saw some brown when I wiped afterwards. Assumed game over and that AF is on her way, however I'm sure I see a faint line here, but I'm not sure it's in the right place? Do you see it? (I've added an original and slightly edited image) Could it be an evap? I am scared to hope and very confused!! 😫🙈

I'm sorry but that looks like an evap, I can't see that it has any colour. I'd also expect a stronger line after a missed period.

Yes I would expect a strong line if you are late, it does look like an evap. Let us know how you get on though!!

Sorry I should add to this that my AF has been a little irregular lately (since taking seven seas prenatal vitamins - was 32 days like clockwork! Ive stopped taking them now, but cycle is still settling down!)
From my EWCM and some pelvic pain, I estimate that I ovulated approx 12 days ago, give or take a day in either direction x

I think at around 12dpo you would have a much darker line than this, especially on a FRER.
