I'm currently 2 week past ovulation . Can pregnancy definitely be ruled out now ? I took a test on new years eve but was negative. Currently bleeding with cramps for days but it's light pink when i wipe? No bright red bleeding and i havent had to use a pad. Am I just having a light period this month ? im wondering can implantation bleeding be possible at this stage. I'm supposed to start medication so obviously I need to rule out 100% no pregnancy before starting a fresh cycle

Clinics would say 14 dpo but if you’re starting medication and haven’t gotten your period then I’d leave another week.

If you’re 2 weeks today then you were 10dpo on NYE? I never got a positive that early so I’d test again. Did you use a FRER?

I was just checking this morning and because of timing of ovulation, implantation and hcg rising, you cannot be sure you're not pregnant until 16 days past ovulation.

1 - 5 DPO: Egg travelling through fallopian tube.

5 - 6 DPO: Egg implanting.

7 - 8 DPO: Egg fully implanted.

9 - 10 DPO: HCG starts being produced but only in small amounts.

11 - 12 DPO: You might have enough HCG on your urine to detect a pregnancy on a very sensitive HPT.

13 -14 DPO: A sensitive HPT should now show a positive result.
