Have you ever seen a more ridiculous indent?

The paper has come away a little as I threw it in the bin but I had to get it back out just to show you all!

Had some like this on one step tests last week. So frustrating x

Tuillyod · 02/01/2023 21:43

Also here to say onestep can also go f**k itself too!
The cheap test are great for the old poas urge but I've been badly duped by them more than once.

vitahelp · 02/01/2023 22:07

I had this with one step a few months ago, I was fuming. Never using cheap internet tests again and in fact I’ve rarely used any tests since then it put me off so much.

overthinkersanonnymus · 02/01/2023 22:08

The pics not great and it's much darker in real life (no colour to it, but very dark grey)

Seems like there are absolutely no reliable tests on the market at all anymore

Decaffe · 03/01/2023 03:23

Why do you think it’s an indent?

Rtmhwales · 03/01/2023 03:29

That's odd. I've never had one, they also showed my positive before FRER did. I used them to track my HCG with my miscarriage down to zero, comparing it against the blood results and got positives on them all the way down to 5 mIUL.

Are you positive it's an evap?

overthinkersanonnymus · 03/01/2023 10:33

Definitely an indent. It was really grey and I retested this morning and bfn.

I've just realized there's a tiny hair on top of the toilet!!!

That's disgusting 😂😂 my apologies lol

It's me again!

So after my tantrum last month about the indents from east at home, I decided that everyone deserves a second chance!

We'll fool me once, shame on you, fool my twice, shame on me!!

These have been since Tuesday this week, it's now Sunday. I've obviously been retesting for confirmation and, minimum, 25% of the tests have PINK evaps 🤦🏻‍♀️

The third one is from this evening

Where do you even go from here when these are supposed to be the most reliable cheepies on the market ?

OP posts:
overthinkersanonnymus · 29/01/2023 19:59

Sorry, this one is from this evening

That’s a positive test, have you actually tried confirming with a FRER or similar? They were really accurate for me, not even a hint of an evap before my positive line. Here’s mine next to the FRER.

bumbledeedum · 29/01/2023 20:04

How sure are you that you're not actually pregnant? They look clearer than my early positives.

Mrsrobinsonx · 29/01/2023 20:05

How do you know they are indents? 3/4 tests with indents is weird, maybe it’s a faulty batch but they do look positive? Have you got your period or used other brands? X

overthinkersanonnymus · 29/01/2023 20:08

All confirmed with FRER. I'm a seasoned POAS addict 🤣 so I know the importance of retesting to confirm.

I really wish they were positives.

OP posts:
allgoodthings84 · 29/01/2023 20:28

I have never known a test to have pink evaps as they don’t have colour. They can only get colour in them if HCG is present?

allgoodthings84 · 29/01/2023 20:28

I’ve seen a lot of people on here say they have got a positive on an easy@home before a frer

Twoinapod · 29/01/2023 20:33

They look like definite positives to me. Evaps don’t have any colour. I’ve seen a lot of people say these showed positive before frers did.

TheWayItAllWouldGo · 29/01/2023 20:46

I will never again trust an IC test. This was an indent I got over Christmas, not even just on one test but on a good few of them. They can get to fuck along with Clear Blues.

TheWayItAllWouldGo · 29/01/2023 20:51

I also got these at the same time, I expected better from FR. Is there no brand we can trust?!

@TheWayItAllWouldGo I think you must have had a chemical pregnancy. Those clearly look positive and on so many tests... so sorry either way that's rubbish Flowers

It was very strange, I started a thread about it, and my period was 4 or 5 days late when I got those weird, vague lines on the FR. Everyone on the thread told me it would have shown up sooner, and the lines would be much darker if I was actually pregnant. I don't disagree with them, at 5 days late it would have been a big, bright line. My period then came on NYD

That was out 5th year of ttc, and we made the decision to stop after that. I'm still reeling from it.

ChloeN · 29/01/2023 21:46

@overthinkersanonnymus Im on a ttc Facebook group and there’s been a few ladies on there with really convincing looking easy@homes and negative on all other tests! I think there must be a few faulty batches out there atm

It's hard because you can never be certain when you ovulated... I had a similar situation where I was pregnant but it ended in a later miscarriage. I had very light tests from the beginning though.

I'm so sorry, that sounds extremely hard. Sending you love.

overthinkersanonnymus · 29/01/2023 22:42

It's just so deflating.

I've retested tonight after a good 4 hour hold and it's stark white.

I know I shouldn't be testing early but if I'd received any of these from this Wednesday (the day I'm due on) I'd have absolutely been convinced I was pregnant.

Could it have been a CP? Those look clearly positive.
