Anyone else 35 and trying for another baby?

I’m 35, I have two kids they are in primary school now. And I think I am ready to have another baby to add to the family. Anyone else 35 and trying for another baby? Im feeling nervous because I’m older now. I have no idea if my body can even handle another birth. It would be nice to talk to other ladies who are my age who are also trying to conceive. I do have a little bit of anxiety about giving birth again.

I’m not, but bumping for you! My parents were over 35 and lots of my relatives were, one was 43. You’ve had two DC before so that’s a good sign! Sending baby dust your way!

Hi @Mamaa35 I'm 36 and TTC my second.

I had my daughter 12 months ago and was 35 then. I had an incredibly healthy pregnancy and a birth that midwives were gushing how beautiful it was! Just a bit of gas and air at the end, other than that, I just breathed her out! It took 3 months to conceive her.

TTC, being pregnant and birthing your baby doesn't have to be difficult just because we're a few years older, and I think now, you aren't classed as geriatric until you are 40, so you've still got plenty of time!

Good luck! 🙂

Not trying but I think of 35 as still youngish, around me most first time mums are late 30s or 40

35 is a fairly average age to have a baby tbh, most of my friends were mid-30s and I don't know anyone who intentionally had a baby under 30.

Not now, but I did have another child when I was 36. It all worked out ok and no problems from being that age if that's what you mean. It was a bit odd for me having another with the other being older and much easier, it was like a step back into nappies and all that. But now my younger one is 5 and it's all easier!

Not TTC until next year but with DD I was 35. Conceived 1st cycle and had a very healthy boring pregnancy. She's 8months old now and thriving (crawls, sits independently, walks etc) and I'm 36.

35 isn't old at all though given you already have 2 I'd imagine you'd be more tired than I was but the same would likely be true if you TTC DC3 at 24. Children are tiring!

I don’t think 35 is old, however, I have been trying to conceive a third for almost two years now since I was 34 and it just hasn’t happened again for me 💔😭

Not me but for what it’s worth I think of 35 as a fairly average age to have a baby (especially if it’s your second/third) and not particularly old. I know so many people who had their first child in their late thirties, it’s really common amongst people I know.
