Clear Blue OPK straight to peak?

I am a bit late starting with the opk at cd 14 and first one I tested and it is straight to peak? I thought clear blue started with the Low fertility O first whenever you test, to get a baseline? Do I have a faulty test?

I don't normally ovulate until between cd17-20 so 14 seems quite early?!

I think if the LH is high it goes straight to peak.
So ovulation imminent!

If lh is low, it gives you a blank circle first use, then either flashing when oestrogen rises and peak static smiley when LH surges. Some people just get the static smiley, and it should be reliable.

Not sure if I'm making much sense. Two glasses of wine already....

Thanks both! It looks like it is right! Managed to find a cheap opk and that is showing positive too. Just got to try and convince my DH to have sex after too many mince pies and wine! 🙈
