Line eyes for a Christmas BFP?

Needtobuildabridge · 22/12/2022 08:55

Please can I have your line eyes? I'm 15DPO, cycle day 31, 2 days late. Is it v.faint - or my imagination?!

I can see a faint line, do you have any other tests to use? It seems unusual to be such a faint line at 15dpo but implantation can happen as late as 12dpo so it’s possible!

Needtobuildabridge · 22/12/2022 09:18

@vitahelp Thanks for replying.

I don't! I think I need to go out and get some. I'm fairly new to this- what brands do you suggest?

I just don't dare hope, it would be amazing to tell my husband just before Christmas 🤞🏻

Get a First Response Early Response if you can!

Good luck x

TwoRockSalmonAndAHaporthOfChips · 22/12/2022 09:21

Everyone always recommends First Response Early Response on here - the consensus is that pink dye tests are more sensitive than blue ones.

Also make sure you are reading the test within the time on the box - if you come back later and see a faint line with no colour it could look positive but just be where the pee has evaporated and left a line where the positive would be, but isn’t actually positive.

Good luck!

BuffaloCauliflower · 22/12/2022 09:21

I can see something but I’d definitely get a FRER, much more reliable. Good luck!

vitahelp · 22/12/2022 09:23

Yes FRER as above is you can. If not I’ve had good experience with Morisons own tests (there will be equivalent Tesco/Asda versions I assume. I’ve never had a false positive with those and they were what I used when I got pregnant with my DD and I got a positive quite early on.

Keep us updated! 😀

Needtobuildabridge · 22/12/2022 09:25

Thanks all - looks like I'm heading out to the shops!

Will it matter that I'm retesting later in the day? Not sure I can wait until tomorrow!

Try and hold for four hours if you can and it’ll be fine!

ChloeN · 22/12/2022 09:43

@Needtobuildabridge clearblue digital ultra early is really good for testing when you’ve got faint lines too, it’s really sensitive! Good luck!xx

namechange485732 · 22/12/2022 09:45

I can see a very very faint line. 🤞 for you!

crimbocountdown · 22/12/2022 09:48

I'd expect a much more obvious line by now if you are pregnant and 15dpo and 2 days late so I'm going to say it's a BFN sorry x

Suprima · 22/12/2022 09:51

Get a FRER.

those tests are notorious for dye runs and the line is very faint

i hope you get your BFP!! X

TokyoSushi · 22/12/2022 09:53

Ooh looks promising OP, good luck!

BuffaloCauliflower · 22/12/2022 10:19

@Needtobuildabridge all my BFPs have been in the evening. Just hold your wee for a couple of hours

TheShellBeach · 22/12/2022 15:25

Hi OP. Take another FRER tomorrow to see if the line gets darker.

Barbequebeans64 · 22/12/2022 15:40

Eek congratulations. My line looked like that at 12dpo, I'm currently 27 weeks and he's kicking me 😂

TolkiensFallow · 22/12/2022 15:51

I called pregs on the first ones but the second confirms it! Congratulations

vitahelp · 22/12/2022 16:12
