Fertile mucus very early on

We have been TTC for 18 months now, had all test and so has my husband all came back clear (so far) however my last 2 cycles I’ve had fertile CM on cycle day 7 only 2 days after my period has finished I usually ovulate on day 12 so this 7 days early! Today I’m feeling very wet down there had to keep going to the toilet to make sure I wasn’t bleeding again, has anyone else had this? Last month when this exact same thing happened I still had fertile mucus on day 12

Just to add to this, I’ve done an OPK and it was negative there is a line there but not as strong as the control line so I’m definitely not in my peak ovulation days, but it’s so random to have this mucus this early on. I’m wondering if it’s a hormonal problem that’s preventing me from getting pregnant

I'm new to TTC but what I'm pretty sure you can get fertile egg white mucus up to 5 days before you ovulate, so if you usually ovulate around day 12 then having fertile mucus on day 7 wouldn't be too out of the ordinary. This would still be the case even with a negative OPK as OPK will show your short surge or hormones to release the egg.

Oh I didn’t know this, thank you, I’m gonna take this as a positive sign that after 18months my hormones are starting to balance out 🤞🏼
