Letrozole and ovulations (LH) tests

hi all, maybe someone has got a similar experience. I am on my 4th month of 5mg letrozole. Defo ovulating when on it. I had very very dark positive on Sat night followed by horrible well known ovary pain. I know I've ovulated. But my ovulation test are still what could be classed as positive 5 days post peak. What on earth is happening? Can letrozole affect LH levels post ovulation?
attached photo is LH test from this morning. Test line is still darker than the control line but on Sat (peak day) it was way way darker.

Hi, sorry no-one replied.
I think this is because the OPK confused LH and HCG. So it's picking up the pregnancy hormone from the trigger shot.
I was weirded out by this too though, if anyone has any better info!

Hi thanks for replying. I didn't take the trigger shoot. And I defo didn't end up pregnant. Remains a mistery!

Are you taking letrozole for PCOS? My consultant told me not to bother with OPKs because PCOS messes with all the hormone levels and so can affect the results.

If you are having monitoring, then you'll know when you are about to ovulate so just focus on sex at that time.

could you ask for a progesterone test or an ovary scan after ovulation to confirm when you ovulated?
