Heavy implantation bleeding anyone? What is going on?

Please don’t shout at me. I have a doctors appt this week so looking for similar stories really.

My cycles are usually 32 days (although have been as high as 37) and this cycle, my ‘period’ came on day 24. Weird. It started pinkish and mucusy only when wiping for the first 2 days. By day 3 it was heavier and needed a pad. I’m on day 7 of this bleeding and it’s now at the ‘spotting/when wiping’ stage again. It’s been lighter than any period I’ve ever had. No clots. Colour ranging from brown to pink to red.

I took a first response and got this. I know they’re known for ‘indents’ so I didn’t trust it. I also got a shadow positive on a wondfo but again it wasn’t blaringly obvious. I took an OPK and that’s shown positive for the last 3 days?!

SO confused. If I was pregnant, surely I’d be getting a solid positive by now? Not faint lines or squinters. I’ve also read that implantation isn’t this heavy and doesn’t last this long, so am not very hopeful.

I’m worrying as I’m due to have a hycosy this week due to 5 years TTC, multiple miscarriages and an ectopic resulting in the loss of my tube. They are checking my remaining one - but of course you have to ensure you are absolutely not pregnant before the procedure!

Oh also - this bleed has been completely painless. I get the worst period pains EVER. I’ve had nothing. Just the odd back ache and abdomen pressure here and there!

Wondered if anyone had similar experiences and ended up pregnant?

Hi, I've had this happen to me twice (period starting early, really light but lasting way longer than normal), and unfortunately it turned out to be a chemical both times. The line always stayed faint and generally disappeared within a week. I really hope it's better news for you though! I know some people have a "period" in the early days of pregnancy, but I guess in that case the line would get darker over time. Perhaps continue testing this week and if the second line is still there a day before your hycosy, postpone it for a couple of weeks so you can see what happens? Wishing you all the best for your TTC journey x
