Faint line on frer at 10/11dpo. Should a line be dark at this stage?

Hey all, I got a really faint line this morning on a first response. It's so faint that I can't even be bothered posting a pic but it is visible in real life but it's just about visible.

I don't really know how many dpo I am, I think between 10/11dpo , my period is due tomorrow according to my app but last month I had a chemical pregnancy so may have ovulated a bit later this month. I've been cramping the past 3 days and having pains in my boobs and been very emotional etc.

But I suppose what I'm asking is, is this a no hoper because it's so faint on a first response at this stage? Should it be darker or if there no hope? It's a real squinter but showed up within the times

Hi @Irishwifey id never say there's no hope, until af arrives, but at 11 dpo I'd expect a decent line on an FRER

I was you last week. Squinting to see lines that may or may not be there a couple of days before I was due on. I came on.

I had a really faint line at 10dpo and wasn't much darker at 11dpo either.

If you have a faint line and you’re three days from when your period is due there is loads of hope.

Call cos I really have no Idea. My Flo app says I'm due my period tomorrow but At the same time I'm not always on time. And I've seen some people say that the chemical pregnancy the month before made them ovulate late. Which is making me think I could have.

It's so strange for me to have these symptoms and even the cramping etc. i only ever get cramping on a day one of my period when I'm already bleeding and even then sometimes I still don't get any!

I'll post a pic but you honestly can't make it out in the pic but I swear it's there in real life 100 percent and appeared within the time.

I'm just so emotional thinking if it's not darker at this stage it must be a chemical. God I don't know. Going crazy!!!

Oh also had a negative on a clear blue yesterday and went back to look later on an hour or two later there was a line. It's such a mind fuck! I'll attach that under this post.

That's odd, OP. The CB is positive (although it wasn't within the time frame) but the FRERs are negative.

I would wait another three days and test again. You're right. It's a mindfuck.

I had no line on a frer with my son, the faint line came at 12dpo. I didn’t realise at the time but late implantation can sometimes be a bad sign and lead to miscarriage later but he’s sleeping in a travel cot at the end of my bed right now (we’re away for the night) so it definitely wasn’t in his case! 😊

I’m now in your boat though as I tested so early and I know I ovulated late at night or early morning so I got a very faint line at 9 dpo, 10dpo I expected a decent line (yesterday) but it was much the same. We then arrived at the hotel and I realised I was bleeding. It stopped shortly after though and I’ve been up half the night wanting to go and check again if I’m bleeding or not. Sometimes AF starts like that so I fully assumed at dinner last night that I was having a chemical. Was just trying to focus on the positives (my little boy I already have, Christmas etc) but then I started hoping it was just a weird heavy implantation bleed and now I think it actually could have been! I don’t have any tests with me but I think I’m going to run to boots this morning if there’s still no more blood there when I get up 🤞🏼 What a mind game this whole thing is!
