Mild cramps since ov - anyone had this before their bfp?

As the title says, I've had mild very light period like cramps since ovulation.

I normally have ovulation pain and this month I had it on both sides, immediately after wards I had these low down cramps until now (8dpo) along with painful boobs and nipples (don't normally get them until af arrives accompanied with strong cramps). At one point they were very veiny but that's died down now.

I know all of this could be pms but I've never had such mild cramps and twinges and definitely not since ovulation.

Anyone had something similar and a bfp?

I have the definite twinges and had it last time I was pregnant ! I’m 6dpo. You won’t have long to wait at least

Eek feels like such a long time but youre right only a week to go.

I've never had cramping and sore nipples/boobs from ov to af so either I'm about to get the worst period from hell or a +

@Polcf i think it would be too early for it to be AF cramps etc because surely they don’t start a week in advance, that’s what I’m telling myself anyway 🤔😂

Agreed! Mine usually start the day af shows definitely not 2 weeks before... Eeeeep! Will try to keep this post updated x

Bfn today at 10 or 11 dpo and I have all the feelings of af about to start, I've only just stopped the pill so not sure of my dates and I'm not properly tracking. I was sceptical of a bfp this early and also we didn't dtd much each either- just twice before I think ov'd so I didn't have high expectations.

@Polcf its so annoying isn’t, I had a lot of cramping yesterday at 8dpo, negative test this morning. I will be a bit gutted if it’s not this month, it’s the 4th cycle. The only upside is I won’t have to give a really obvious excuse why I’m not drinking at my two Christmas nights out. I can’t be optimistic after next cycle though 😂😩

@BCxx 8dpo is so early, don't lose hope! The last bit of the tww is the worst, it gets harder not to test as time goes on. I've scoured the web and found so many stories of bfns on 10dpo, 11 dpo even 14 dpo and then bfps the day after af is due so I've got fingers crossed for both of us xx

@Polcf yeah just thinking the last time I was pretty sure on dates and got negatives to 11dpo, not even a hint of a line, I was shining a torch on it the lot then the next day got a line that was pretty obvious. It’s so weird how it can go from nothing to that in a day but I suppose it’s because hcg doubles every so often. The longer time goes on the more I assume it’s not this cycle but Af should arrive sometime over the weekend or up to Tuesday but it seems to vary so much and il know either way by Sunday with a test if not

@BCxx I'm due Monday or Tuesday, I've got 2 frers in my cupboard and Im gonna find it hard to hold out till then! Unless she comes early which used to happen when I wasn't on the pill. Grrrr! I was shining a torch through mine earlier, nothing but stark white. I didn't use fmu though, I've read evening can be better for some women in the early days. @Polcf yeah any I see at 9dpo always seems to be people saying they did it at night. I’ll probably test again in the morning but il still be no further forward if it’s negative! Fingers crossed we both get good news soon 😩

Yes - and I was pregnant! Unfortunately that ended in mc.

Got pregnant the following cycle and definitely felt crampy (can't remember exactly when they started though as I was only loosely tracking at that point) and I'm 15 weeks tomorrow.

Just reading through some of comments on here - afternoon/evening urine definitely yielded stronger lines for me!!

If I were you, and AF isn't far off, I'd be testing! I've got postives at 8DPO though with my last two pregnancies and I'm very impatient 🤣

@B1993 thank you! Yes in lasts nights at 9dpo there was nothing visible but with my son I could see a line when I checked later (although know you’re not meant to), sure enough there was a hint of a line there but only one that would show up when you moved it about and glanced at it from a certain angle. This morning I thought it was stark white again but when I looked closer could see it, just!

@BCxx will you be confirming with a different brand? I know FRER aren't getting a lot of good press at the minute for terrible indents.

I definitely had the same with this pregancy - left the test, which was stark white in timeframe, but very visible pink line when I checked later! Then the day or so after, got lines in the timeframe 😊

How old is your DS? Mine will be just shy of 4 when baby arrives. 🥰

YASSS!! Im sure those lines will get darker for you, keep us updated! Stark white for me this morning but I'm not out FX!
