@BiscuitLover3678 when I concieved my first pregnancy I was so sure AF was coming, I had the period cramps/back ache and even a spot of brown cm I always get the day before my period. It didn’t arrive so I tested and was positive. This pregnancy I had negative tests at 8dpo but positive by 9 so it can definitely change with early testing, I had cramps with this one too!

Yes - for me the symptoms of early pregnancy feel just like when my period is coming. I kept going to the toilet and expecting to see blood!

I did! Coming up to date AF was due I felt usual pms. Continued for a few days and then stopped - went away completely. That's when I tested and was positive.

Yeah I'd had covid and thought that's why my period was late. Didn't even think to test as I was having strong period cramps so thought it was coming any day. After a few weeks where I still hadn't come on I did a test fully expecting it to be negative as we didn't have sex anywhere near ovulation and I was so shocked when it was a strong positive!!

When I was pregnant it was the exact same as it was when I was on my period symptom wise. The only difference was I got a BFP. Literally no difference

Oh yes! I remember well one particularly bad episode of PMT and menstrual cramps for a ‘period’ who is now 12 years old!

It’s so hard to tell the difference between the cramps! I am absolutely convinced this month that I must be pregnant! The cramps feel less all over and more very small and focused in that one area, almost like pinching and I do definitely remember getting that with my son. I also remember with him that I had a sort of pressure feeling on my cervix on and off, almost like a sort of smear test type feeling. I haven’t felt that yet but have felt a heavy feeling in there. It’s so hard not to just make up symptoms to suit but a lot of it is matching up! Testing on Thursday 🤞🏼

Yes, I had PMT × 1000, would have argued with my own shadow, was on holiday with my then dh & just wanted him to go away & leave me alone all week, was either in tears or screaming at him like a mad woman, came back off holiday thought something wasn't right, did a test & got a BFP.

Thanks for all of this! But AF is now here all the same.
