Has anyone experienced quite high HCG levels at 4/5 weeks but has been bleeding like you would normally with AF?

i had a blood test yesterday to confirm the pregnancy as it’s so early and I’ve had bleeding since Wednesday, and spotting prior to that.

Im booked in for a scan tomorrow so that will explain everything but just thought my HCG levels would be lower if I have or am miscarrying

You need the scan to know what's going on. High HCG levels don't nessecarily confirm anything. I've experienced bleeding in which everything was fine, and also had the complications of high HCG but a non viable pregnancy. There are many reasons for bleeding and not all are bad but I would mentally prepare myself if I was you. Sending good thoughts.
