Clearblue weeks test says 1-2 at 17 dpo.. bad sign?

Hello guys
so I tested positive at 10 dpo . I've been getting good lines on first response but admittedly not as dark as I would expect . Today at 17 dpo the digi is saying 1-2 weeks when it should be 2-3 weeks if all is well. I've had losses at various stages and I'm worrying this is heading the same .. any advice?
I've attached a pic of my latest frer. ( top is 16 dpo and bottom today at 17dpo when I also got a 1-2 on clear blue . )

Hi!
your FRER lines look good! I’ve been scouring boards as also stuck on 1-2 weeks and I’m 4w6d according to LMP - so would think I should be in 2 -3 now. The general advice on the boards is that CB aren’t always reliable, and pregnancy tests are just designed to tell you pregnant or not, and they’re not a reliable way to track progression. So many factors affect tests - date of implantation, how much water you’ve had, etc. Try to relax (easier said than done! I’ve just ordered more tests myself even though I know I need to step away from them!) x

Thanks so much ! Have you been testing with frer also or just the clear blue ? Wish I never took a clear blue now to be honest! My pregnancy symptoms have all gone too.. just have this weird bad feeling :/

@fizzyblush ive been testing with everything 😂😂 Had good line progression with FRER and have done 2 CB 1 week apart both showing 1-2 weeks. But I started testing pretty early and have had a previous chemical pregnancy where I had no line progression at all (only one positive then it went negative and I started period the following day - if I hadn’t tested so early I’d have been none the wiser!) so trying to remind myself the CB aren’t an exact science. For now, I’m positive, I’m not bleeding and I have no control over what’s going on in there so just have to go with it! I also wish I’d never used CB 😂
My only symptom is slightly tender boobs which I never get even around my period. Don’t forget some people get no symptoms throughout! Keeping everything crossed for you 🤞🏼

Also don’t forget some people never get dye stealers etc so it’s not an indicator that anything is wrong. Your positive is a good positive - have added my last FRER from Saturday for you to compare - mine would be about the same time as yours xx

So hard not to worry isn't it. .
I did another one last night at 18 dpo and got 2-3 weeks . It should have reassured me but I'm still
thinking the progression is slow if the expectation is 2-3 and 14 dpo 😩

@fizzyblush honestly the general consensus on here is that the CB weeks test are terrible. Some people never got to 3+ and went on to have healthy pregnancy - I know it’s easier said than done but try to relax. The other thing I’ve found is that people who have had early scans have found growth slow Initially but then caught up by week 12 - which is why they tend to leave you until 12 weeks as there can be so much variation!
we have a little thread on the pregnancy board called due August 2023 - come and join. Everyone is at a very similar point to us! 🥰

sinloutox · 02/12/2022 07:48

PS mine was 1 - 2 weeks at 19 DPO - but reminding myself I could have implanted late, more diluted urine than needed etc. I’ve tested on my CB monitor this morning and it’s still positive so 🤞🏼😀

Thank you x

They're not a medical tool. I wish the buggers for banned me.

Stop testing OP. You don't need to test anymore.

fizzyblush · 03/12/2022 13:20

True. I just worry so much in these early days x

@fizzyblush i totally get it. I’m still not progressing on the CB so preparing for the worst but stepping away from the tests now - what will be will be. If I’ve still not had any bleeding by the time my early scan is due I’ll go and see what’s going on in there! Keeping everything crossed yours goes well ❤️

Thanks 😍

I am 12dp5dt (17dpo) my tests don’t seem to be getting darker on frer. I took a clear blue digital and it’s only showing 1-2 weeks (this was my smu after 3 hour/3half hour hold) has anyone had this and had a successful pregnancy?

Didn’t mean to respond on this post, I will create a new one

SJVX · 06/04/2023 16:13

@fizzyblush can I ask how this turned out for you? I’m 17dpo too, still having 1-2 on clear blue but FRER lines are dark

fizzyblush · 06/04/2023 19:04

Hello .
im currently 23 weeks pregnant and all has been good so far 🤞! How many dpo are you and what other tests have you used x

Amazing news :) have you found out what you’re having?
I have used FRER they have progressed but seeing people getting dye stealers and I haven’t just yet, which is worrying me a little along with the 1-2 weeks on clear blue. I’m 17 or 16dpo. I have attached todays test :), really don’t mind you being brutally honest with me, I’m kind of preparing for the worst

That test looks really really good . Almost dye stealer : I never did get a 3+ by the way ! I worried so much . I booked an early scan at 6 weeks and saw the start of fetal pole but no heartbeat which worried me . I went back ten days later and all was fine! Now I'm 23 weeks with a baby boy! He's moving around as we speak! I don't think the weeks indicator work for everyone / that's my theory !
have you tried second wee of the day? Mine were always better than first xx

Thank you for the reassurance. I have stopped testing now and I am going to wait until my early scan, gonna book it for 7 weeks so fingers crossed but still in a very cautious state of mind. I am absolutely over the moon for you, I have a feeling that I am having a boy too, I read a study which I found very interesting that they did tests in women from 16dpo and if they were carrying a male fetus they had less hcg in their system, how interesting is that! Xx
