Just as the title says. I know in the grand scheme of things 8 cycles isn't that long but looking cor glimmers of hope at we come to the end of another cycle.

Thank you so much.

We did after 13 months. Currently pregnant with second and it only took 3 months this time (which surprised me a lot). I know it's hard month after month, but up to a year is supposed to be normal.

18 months for me, now have my 16 day old baby next to me. We had booked a private appt with fertility consultant just before got my BFP and had to cancel it haha. Fingers crossed it happens for you soon x

It took me nine months and three chemical pregnancies to conceive DS.

TheBirdintheCave · 28/11/2022 12:44

15 cycles with my son and 11 cycles (plus a MMC at the start) for this one.

Brandybucks · 28/11/2022 12:48

Yep I conceived my now 5 year old after 8 cycles. DS1 was after 17 months, DS2 8 months, DS3 7months, DS4 1 month! We bizarrely got quicker as we aged.

curliegirlie · 28/11/2022 12:55

Yup - 16 months/10 cycles with DD1, 12 cycles with DD2, and I'm now on cycle 10 after a surprise MC in March, when I must have conceived within a couple of weeks of slipping up with pill taking...

Superfoodie123 · 28/11/2022 13:04

12 months exactly. I was doing all the things, early 30s, super healthy and still didn't happen instantly. Don't lose hope

emhope · 28/11/2022 13:29

I’m in a similar position to you OP. Will be moving on to cycle 9 TTC and these replies give me hope 💕 I know they say up to a year is normal but it’s a real struggle sometimes picking yourself back up each month!

polkadotpixie · 28/11/2022 13:30

It took us 11 cycles with DS. Been trying 18 months for DC2 and nothing since an early MC in cycle 4

OatFox · 28/11/2022 13:32

My friend did after 10 months and another friend after 13 months, both around the mark they would have been seeking some professional guidance.

BabyMoonPie · 28/11/2022 14:02

DD1 took 8 cycles. DD2 took 27 cycles. TTC was not a breeze for us

GagaBinks · 28/11/2022 14:09

9 months with my son, 10 months for number 2 (but I miscarried) and then 2 months for the 5 week old foetus inside me now. I can't believe it happened to quickly for this 3rd pregnancy but I've read you're more fertile after a MC.

Greatbiggoldfish · 28/11/2022 14:18

9 months .. but our second baby was the first try .. sometimes just change I think .. good luck OP

Dakin · 28/11/2022 15:25

About a year and a half with two MC and a chemical. I was pregnant the cycle after the second MC.

Chanel05 · 28/11/2022 16:29

@doublewater I conceived all 3 of my pregnancies in cycle 8! Must be my lucky number 😂. I had truly given up hope of it happening each time by then and I think that's why it happened.
