If you implant 1/2 days before your period is due is it too late?

Hello, so last month I had a chemical pregnancy. I ovulated a bit late and then had some pink spotting not long before my period was due. Got a faint positive the day my period was due then four days later full blown heavy bleeding (I'm never normally late).

Anyway, I tracked this cycle and I ovulated CD 17-18, it's now CD27 and I'd had no signs until just now where I kept wiping some pink, some brown, a bit more pink and then no more. Today would be about 9DPO. If this is implantation again then is it too late for the little bean to stick and is this why I had the chemical last time? Just to add my cycles are never any longer than 28 days 😬

9dpo is the most common day for implantation

I mean if this is a day or so before your period is due? It might not give your body enough time to recognise you are pregnant and not shed the lining

If you fully implant before your period it should be ok. There’s no way to know really but people with short LPs do get pregnant and sticks even if it takes them a bit longer. There are so many reasons why chemicals happen. I’ve just had 2 in a row in the last 2 cycles.

Unfortunately there’s just no way to know for sure and I know how much it sucks and how worrying it is trust me. I’m terrified of getting pregnant again but also don’t want to give up as we want a baby together so much. I have a 12 day LP but spot a few days before. I didn’t spot at all with the first CP but did with the second but it stopped day before AF due. Started bleeding on sane dpo with both so no idea why I spotted with one but not the other as it didn’t seem to make a difference.

9 DPO sounds okay, if you’re worried you have a short luteal stage you could always see your GP. Ask for a progesterone blood test, from my understanding, short luteal stages happen due to low progesterone so hopefully some blood tests may help you identify what is going on. Good luck 🤞

I got pregnant on day 21 of my 28 day cycle and two embroyos stuck. I think it just depends on your body
