Period late by 4 days, positive ovulation test

Hi All, for background my last period started on 17th October. Based on me having a 32 day cycle, I’m now 4 days late.
I have some discharge and cramps, so on the off chance took an ovulation test and it’s a very strong positive! For reference I’ve never had a strong second line using one of these, also I had a negative pregnancy test yesterday.
(I KNOW I KNOW take a home pregnancy test which I will in the morning but it’s driving me crazy!) just want to know if anyone else has had the same situation X

Yes I got a very positive OPK before I took positive preg test.

pregnancy hormone can be detected by ovulation tests but LH cannot be detected by pregnancy tests so they are not interchangeable so unless there is absolutely no chance you’ve got a delayed ovulation then I would say you’re pregnant!

I just think it would be very odd for me to ovulate 2 weeks late you know?
did you have cramps around the time of your usual AF before you tested positive?

@SLCC was your pregnancy test a sensitive one? I also got a positive opk with my pregancy but by the time my lines were dark my pregnancy test was also a decent line xx

@ChloeN it was a regular clear blue one. I have a clear blue digital one to take in the morning if I don’t have a visit from AF before! xx

did you have cramps around the time of your usual AF before you tested positive?

@SLCC yes try again in the morning!! If you don’t have any ovulation signs I’d say it would be quite odd for your opk to be so dark. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for you xx

I am currently 4 days late too and for some reason for the past few days ive got more discharge than normal? I also have tender breasts and also mild cramps but no period at all! i really doubt that im ovulating this late but i also got a negative test result, whats should i do?
