Questions on best pregnancy tests to use

Hi all, I am 12 dpo & I got a positive on easy@home test this morning. Later in the afternoon, I did a clear blue rapid detection test & it was negative. I know I should’ve waited until the morning but am now wondering if it was a false positive this morning & what are the best tests to use. What would you all recommend?

Hi op, most people recommend the first response brand

@Lovemusic2015 easy@home have been good for me, but the clear blue one isn’t an early detection and if it wasnt fmu it probably wouldn’t show! I used that one at 12dpo in the morning and the line wasnt as dark as using early tests! I’d try not to worry and just test again in the morning☺️ xx

and thanks for your positivity @ChloeN just what I needed! I know false positives are rare so I am telling myself I shouldn’t have tested in the afternoon.
we are almost a year ttc so I’ve jumped from being so excited to so unsure. And I’ve done it to myself 🙈

@Lovemusic2015 its so hard isn’t it, I totally understand you just want to see as many positive tests as possible! I tested in the afternoon on an easy@home when I first found out and there was hardly anything there but was darker again by the next morning so I do think fmu really makes all the difference! Good luck for the morning I’m sure you’ll be absolutely fine☺️ clearblue ultra early digitals are really good so at least you get it in words if you want the extra reassurance xx
