TTC in December (for a September 23 baby)

Hi everyone. I'm planning to start TTC for a second child from December. I thought I would start a thread in case anyone else was planning to start around the same time. If a thread already exists then please do point me in the right direction!

Hiya! We’re also about to TTC second child, I’m about to start AF hopefully today or tomorrow so will be ovulating in a couple of weeks and then testing mid December! 😬 feeling weird about it because first DC was not planned. She’s nearly 2, how old is yours @GoldenSpiral ?

I actually just tested because I’ve had cramps for two days without AF but it was v clear BFN. Would be nice to have some TTC buddies definitely 😊

Hey @cinnamonbiscuit. It sounds like we're in a similar boat. My DS has just turned 2. He was planned and I got pregnant quickly, fingers crossed it is the same this time around!

I got AF today but I'm planning to start TTC after my next period, so from 20th December-ish. I've been waiting it out for December to see if I can concieve an autumn-born baby (mainly for the academic benefit).

How long have you been trying? It will be nice to have someone's journey to follow while I wait a little longer!

@GoldenSpiral ah nice that our DC are almost the same age, we really are doing the same thing! We’ve technically not started yet, but we weren’t particularly careful last month so I wanted to test to make sure. AF still not here which is quite annoying! It’s been slightly less regular since I had DD. I suppose I might have ovulated late so if it doesn’t start by the end of the weekend I’ll test again. Really don’t think I’m pregnant though!

Yeah I get you re the autumn born thing, I wouldn’t mind if it doesn’t work this first month for that exact reason 😅

AF started today! So at least I know roughly where I am now
