Hi everyone,

I did a pregnancy test 11 DPO (according to clear blue ovulation tests) which was negative. 13 -15 DPO I had some light bleeding, that’s how my period normally starts. Then yesterday 17 DPO I didn’t have any bleeding.

This morning 17 DPO I did another pregnancy test which came back as a faint positive, could I really be pregnant or is it too faint for 17 DPO?

I definitely see it!!

I'm in a similar boat of wondering how faint a line should be around x days past ovulation and if it means it's heading to a chemical or not...so hard to know!

I've got some clear blue digital ones coming today so maybe order some of those to put your mind at rest one way or the other?! but that's definitely positive!

It’s so stressful isn’t it! Have you had a positive test?

I was expecting a strong positive at 17 days and with the bleeding I had it doesn’t look that promising.

Annoyingly it was my last test, as soon as I finish work I’m going to buy more.

Yeah def so stressful!

I've had a positive on digital (yday) where you can't mistake it as its digital and then today all I had was a first response and its a line...faint but there...pics attached

@Islandescape @Rosiestraws please could I ask how this panned out for you both? Currently in the same boat. FRER have been progressively getting lighter until today very slightly darker. But cheap Asda test is super faint!

@ChickenT2b I actually some had some more bleeding a few days after this thread which lasted about a week. But it turns out everything was fine and I’m now at the end of my second trimester. Hope everything turns out well for you!

@Islandescape that’s great news! Congratulations!
Did you continue testing? I’m 17 dpo today and thought mine were getting lighter until today which was light at 3 mins but shortly after became one of the darkest tests. Except for Asda, that was super faint!
I know I should stop testing 🤦🏻‍♀️. With a previous mc, it’s just hard to believe this will happen.

I continued to test every other day for a couple of weeks and they did get darker. But I think the key is to stick to one type of test.

Your tests are darker than mine were for 17DPO, that’s the day my faint test in the first post was taken.
