Hi ladies,
I've been off the pill now for around 18 months and ttc on and off for 12 months. I say on and off as I got pregnant very unexpectedly last Christmas (3 weeks before our wedding) but unfortunately it ended up in very early mc.
We started trying again in Feb 22 but then due to a lot of personal stress had a few months break over summer and have now started again. We are now on cycle 3 with no bfp yet.
However, what worries me is my periods since coming off the pill and the mc. They are pretty regular, 30-33 day cycles on average. I am tracking using cbfm and getting peaks each month with ewcm on peak days, but when af comes it is very light and short (maybe 1 day of bleeding and then 1 day spotting).
I've got this horrible feeling something is wrong.
Does anyone else have really light af and still conceived?
I'm currently waiting on results of progesterone test.
Thanks in advance :-)

Hi @Poppy2764, sorry for your loss. I had a miscarriage in April/May that I ended up having surgery due to it being incomplete. After that for the next two cycles my period was very very light and short. Similar to what you said. I was concerned that something was wrong, I started tracking ovulation which confirmed I was still ovulating it was just the really light/short period that didn’t feel right. I conceived on the third cycle in late August and I’m now 13+6.

My experience though is quite limited (only two months of it). If your periods have been like that since stopping the pill 18months ago then that’s quite a while, it’s good that you are getting it investigated to check everything is ok. Just thought I’d add in a positive story for the light periods after a mc/surgery.
