Has anyone ever had a positive pregnancy test weeks after having a 'period'?

Hi, wondering if anyone has ever had a positive pregnancy test weeks after having a 'period'/bleed?

Curious to know as my body feels different - burping a lot every day, feeling nauseous every day, blue veins in boobs... I am sure it's all a coincidence but it got me wondering if this can happen. Because I felt so different I took a test at 16 and 23 dpo and both negative (I had a 3 day bleed at 14dpo that was quite heavy but not as painful as usual).

I am sure they are true negatives and my mind is just playing tricks on me but it has got me thinking!

Yes. Twice.

The first time I had a two day period. When I fell asleep in the cinema I got curious and tested. He’s now a toddler.

With the second, I tested until the day I started my period. Had a full force five day bleed. Felt weird two weeks later and, bearing in mind previous experience, took a test.

Was somehow six weeks pregnant. And glad I’d found out, because again my spidey-senses tingled and it was an ectopic pregnancy that resulted in tube removal and full infertility (was my last tube).

So, whatever science and other people might tell you, it is possible, BUT can be an indicator of something not right.

Thank you @Lividity for sharing your experience!

I had a chemical pregnancy 2 months ago and just knew something wasn't right, I was in so much pain for pretty much the whole of the 2 week wait.

Now I'm nauseous every day and the burping thing is weird as I usually hardly ever burp but am burping like a trooper. I think I will wait until next week and if I still feel the same I am going to test again. It could just be my body being weird as I have endo but I've not experienced this before.
