TTC w/ acupuncture - confused about AF arriving

Hi everyone,

This is my first post however I've been reading forums since I started my journey almost 2 years ago.

I've been going for acupuncture recently to help with TTC and personally I have been really enjoying it.
My issue I'm having is last week when I went for my session the doctor picked up on my "slippery pulse" and indicated this was a good sign which naturally made me very excited.
I went for another session yesterday 2/11 and I was already 1 day late for AF but had noticed little bit of blood when wiping he was happy again and said my pulse was still very strong and slippery/rotating.

Now this morning when I've woken up I have started AF and I'm having light cramps. I don't know what to do or think, naturally I don't want to accept I'm out but at the same time why would my pulse be indicating I could be pregnant? I took a test yesterday but it was negative and I planned to take a CB today however I thought there was no point with AF starting.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks :)
