Hi, it took me 1.5 years to get pregnant with DS and would love another baby, will it take just as long?

What has everyones experience been when conceiving second baby?

DC1 took nearly a year. I’ve been pregnant 4 more times since then, and it never took longer than 2 cycles. I was diagnosed with an under active thyroid after DC1 was born though, and wonder if that was behind me taking longer to conceive the first time around.

DD1 took 16 months/10 cycles - I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism 10 months into TTC, then got my BFP 6 months/cycles later. I thought that TTC DD2 might be easier as I had my thyroid under control, but it still took 12 months (with a CP at month 8). Earlier this year I had a surprise BFP, without trying at all (pill failure) but that turned into an early MC. I'm now on cycle 9 post MC. So, it's been a bit random overall....

Been pregnant 3 times and each time it took 8 months for me to conceive.

DC1 - months of trying followed by clomid

DC2 - 2 weeks of trying

DC3 - 10 and 8 years younger than his siblings, a very much loved 'happy surprise' (aka 'wtf') after one unprotected holiday mishap.

We are brilliant at family planning as you can see.
