Cyclogest and cycle starting after early miscarriage

Hi all

I found out I was pregnant and was put on cyclogest due to reocfuring miscarraiges. I had bloods to confirm and unfortunately it didn't progress. My HCG was below 2 so I stopped cyglogest and began bleeding a few days later.

I just wondered if anyone us had similar and whether the day I found my hcg was "not pregnant" is when my cycle will have started so will gear up to ovulate 14/15 days from then as per my usual cycles. Or whether the delayed period from taking cyclogest will be day 1 and then will be 14 days from there.

I guess what I'm asking is it the hcg hitting 0 that makes your cycle restart or the bleeding

The first day of bleeding will be CD1, that's what I was told with my MC

I had an early MC on the 11th october. They were testing my HCG for a week before that, the highest it got was 26. The day before I started bleeding it was 12 (I wondered if it needed to go to 0 to start the MC but clearly now) and today I have ovulated bang on time.

Hope this helps x
