Hi all,

So i started my OPK's at CD6 and to my shock it came back positive. Today marks CD 9. I usually ovulate between CD15-17. They have got progressively fainter. Today i started the digi clear blue OPK and that was negative. According to my app my 'fertile window' starts tomorrow. My cycles are pretty reg at 27-29 days but last month hit me with a 41 day cycle! Is my body now messed up and ive missed my opportunity?? I will continue to do the OPK's but has anyone else had this

@2022TTCBaby1 none of those tests are quite positive. My tests are usually darker during and right after my period then get really light before getting darker again so keep testing 😊

Thank you @allgoodthings84. Test looks like they are going a little darker today to be honest. And started with the flashing smiley on the digi

@2022TTCBaby1 I don’t use CB opk’s so not sure on that one but my easy@home tests are lighter in the morning than in the morning than afternoon/evening. When I think I’m getting close to peak I do one in the morning and early evening. If I only did one test near peak I could easily miss it. I know my opk’s must be accurate enough as I had bloods done on 6dpo and I got pregnant last cycle. unfortunately ended in an early miscarriage/CP but still know we must have been dtd at the right time.

allgoodthings84 · 29/10/2022 09:48

Lighter in the morning that afternoon that meant. On my opk’s if I peak in morning they will be dark in morning but if I peak in the evening then they will still be light in the morning. That’s why I always do 2 a day near peak,

I’m CD13 today and I peak any time from CD11-CD14. CD12 isn’t too late for sure. I’m not sure if I will ovulate same time this cycle because of the loss last cycle but my line this morning was darker than yesterdays (still a “low” reading though) so I know it will be darker later and probably peak tonight or tomorrow

Sorry to hear about your loss. I ended up with solid smiley saturday but continued with the easy@home. Ive never had a positive on these until last night! I think the CB tell me i peak too early wich is why i didnt get a peak on the easy@home as i always stopped!! So hopefully this month ive caught it. Sending baby dust your way xx

OPKs can be helpful, but can be more insightful if you're tracking other ovulation symptoms - such as BBT, cervical mucus, and some people get breast changes. Have you noticed any other symptoms? You can usually tell if you're ovulating without the OPKs, so try to pay attention to what's happening in your body too 😊

@Poppy912 hey! I have never got the hang of bbt tracking if im honest! I do get slight cramping mid month, but my CM never seems to change. My cervix seems to be pretty high but mine moves up and down all the time. Ive had 21 day tests and they have shown i do ovulate. Who knew ttc was so stressful. Ive been diagnosed with mild endometriosis but gp is pretty certain i can conceive naturally. Ive been referred to a fertility clinic anyway, which will hopefully be next month. But i really want to be able to tall them i dont need their help. Cycle 10, month 11. Fingers crossed in this tww. I go on holiday next weekend and i would love to be able to surprise the OH if not, all inclusive bar it is haha
