Hi,

Don't even know what I'm trying to get from posting this but I stopped my pill on 10th Sept and still no period after 39 days off of it.

This is our second time trying.

With our first DS it took 8 months and I only had 3 periods in that time.

Trying not to stress but it's so hard!

It's so hard not to stress isn't it!!

I've recently stopped my combined pill to TTC#1. Had my normal withdrawal bleed and only on cycle day 10 according to Clue (based on an average cycle) and already thinking what if my first real period doesn't come!! We want one natural period before going unprotected.

Sending calm vibes! I'm sure it will come.

It's always stressful when the period isn't coming... if it makes you feel any better I stopped my mini pill (75g desogestrel), and only had a period 2 months and a half later... I did a little dance when I finally got it!

Mine was 42 days last time I stopped it. I think it was nearer 32 this time. It just feels like forever and such wasted time when you just want to try 🤦🏼‍♀️ Hope it appears tomorrow 🤞🏼

This happened to a friend of mine! She had sex before getting her period and went months without having a period thinking there was something wrong. Turns out that one time having sex after coming off the pill made her pregnant!

Ah you sound similar to me!
With DS, it also took 8 months to conceive with only 3 periods in that time. Currently pregnant with DS2, after being off the pill for 7 cycles varying from 46 to 29 days. They were getting a lot more regular at around 32 days by the time this baby was conceived. Fingers crossed things settle soon for you x

Hi, it took 3 months for my periods to return after coming off the pill (not including the withdrawal bleed which was immediate). I was worried at the time but GP advised up to 6 months is normal. Good luck

Hi, I stopped my pill (mini pill) end of august to try for baby #1, and I’m still waiting for a period. Tomorrow is 8 weeks exactly since I stopped. I’m driving myself more crazy as each day passes by :(

Looking like I'm getting AF today 🤞🏻🤞🏻
Took 3 months the first time I came off the pill!
Good luck to you guys!
So stressful isn't it 😢

It took 5 months for my period to restart after coming off the pill. I took Agnus Castus during the fourth month to see if that helped and it started within 3 or 4 weeks. May have been coincidence though and you have to use it with caution if you are trying to conceive.
