Am I crazy to want to TTC so soon?

My son turns 1 in a few days and DH and I want to start trying for our next and last child. Basically I'd love to here from people who have had children this close together... Are you happy with that decision? Any regrets? What do you think the pros and cons have been?

I have 2 very close in age. My son has just turned 2 in September and my little girl was born at the start of this year.

For me I wouldn't change it but it is difficult! I always feel as if I'm changing nappies etc. it is tiring but also rewarding

A huge number of siblings are around 2 years apart so it is incredibly common to start trying around baby 1's first birthday. If you feel ready, go for it. It is often nice to keep the two children around the same 'stage' for days out, holidays, activities. Getting the 'baby stage' done in one chunk is also often easier. Some people love that idea, others don't want the baby stage to end so leave bigger gaps or have more dc.

That's not close at all.. that's pretty standard:)
I concieved my second when my first was 4 months old, and my third when my second was 3 months old! Now that's close (and incredibly lucky I know)

It was tiring but great fun and they have grown up very close. :)

We started trying after our DD’s first birthday. I was still breastfeeding and didn’t get my cycle back til I completely stopped, so it took 6 months to fall pregnant again. DD was 27 months when her little sister came along and it’s been a lovely age gap, they are best of friends (now age 2 and 4).

Nope not crazy. I am currently pregnant (early days) and my little one is 10 months
