11DPO BFN but been cramping since 5DPO?

Hi, this month is really throwing me! DTD all around ovulation (CD 18).

Then on CD23 (5DPO) I had AF cramps which have never gone away, accompanied by spotting/light brown discharge from 5DPO - 9DPO which has now stopped completely.

I’m now on CD29 (I usually come on CD28/29) and the AF cramps continue. I have a burning sensation in my uterus and twinges. Boobs sore.

These are all usual AF symptoms of mine but obviously not the spotting that has since come to a stop? And also not cramping for 7 days? But the spotting has thrown me as 5DPO seems too early for that to have been an IB, but if it wasn’t an IB, what was it?!

Tested using a cheapy test yesterday and first thing this morning, BFN. Worried if not pregnant then something else is wrong…

Im in the same situation as you. Used a CB tracker, hit peak. DTD all around the right times. 6dpo I had spotting and light cramping on and off for 2 days.
now 13dpo and BFN yesterday, I’m going to test again tomorrow.
I’ve been exhausted last week to the point of going to sleep as soon as I’m home from work.
the spotting is unusual for me.
When is AF due?

Technically my cycle is “regular” but not super regular, I usually come on around day 28/29, and today is 29, so it’s hard to say how late I am exactly. What about you?

In bed currently and cramps going down to tops of my legs. This is the 7th day of me running to the loo convinced Af has arrived, when it hasn’t

AF is due on Thursday for me.
my cycles have been irregular but becoming more and more regular the last 6 months.
which tests have you tried? I used FRER on Friday with a BFN.
the first response website suggests I should test tomorrow so I will.

I’ve only used two asda cheap tests! I’m feeling really really nauseous this morning, just went to loo and looks like I’m spotting again? So maybe AF is gona arrive today, got a feeling I’m out now :( but I’ll update here if I’m wrong! Got my fingers crossed for you

I got my first BFP last time at 12dpo and had written it off by 11dpo, was only really doing another just for the sake of binning the last of the tests. Couldn’t believe it when it was actually positive. I had cramping and a heavy feeling in my cervix, not a feeling I’ve ever had before, since 5dpo on and off

Also yes definitely get a first response and make sure it’s the one that says early, chances are the asda ones aren’t sensitive enough so early on

Thank you. If I can get out of the office today im going to get hold of some first response tests. I’m now 12DPO, im bleeding quite consistently now but it’s still brown, light and a bit jelly like. Cramps are dying down but boobs are still sore. So confused

Left office to go to asda earlier, no first response tests there anymore but I did buy another pack of cheapies. I nearly didn’t take a test today because the bleeding has felt heavier the first half the day, still brown though and still only a pantyliner needed, has stopped altogether.

but when when throwing out the bins I noticed my test from yesterday had a pos line? May be evap, I didn’t read it after 5 mins. Then I went into my back garden and dug out my test from the bin (lol!!!) from the day before which had no line.

So that got me intrigued and I tested today but it was another BFN.

Still very crampy and not right. So confused! If my 5DPO was implantation bleeding then maybe I got my O date wrong and I O’ed earlier than I thought, but then I would be testing positive by now surely? Nothing makes sense

Oh my gosh! I'm going through something similar. Yesterday was either 4 or 5dpo and i too found a dark red blob on my tissue. I looked on Google and it says it's too early for implantation bleeding but I kept on getting twinges in my uterus all night and at one point a slight cramp. We followed SMEP to the T so hoping I'm pregnant but Im not due until next Thursday - still got a bit of a wait! As long as AF hasn't arrived, you're still in the running! Praying you'll get a BFP soon!!! Xx

What's the latest you usually get your period? If you're already late and getting BFNs, it's unlikely you're pregnant unfortunately.

Could you have ovulated later than you think? Mid-cycle spotting could be ovulation.... then the spotting you experienced last few days could have been implantation?

I had spotting 11 days before I got my BFP and spent ages trying to work out what it was... Now I think it was actually caused by slightly rough DTT rather than anything else 😳

thanks so much everyone, so I’m now on CD31 and 13DPO. I tested again yday in the morning, nothing, but then when I went back 20 mins later there was a line?

Im still spotting but no AF :(

What type of test was it? The blue dye ones always have a line after the time limit in my experience. If it was a strip, I'd think it was a real positive! Never seen a test line develop on those once you get a negative, but if you had a very faint positive it may have become clearer after it dried.

I know we’d be getting ahead of ourselves but has anyone thought out (if they were to be pregnant this month) how/when they would tell people? I’d love to keep it a secret from my mum etc for a lot longer this time as I felt like I had to tell them instantly last time. I’d need to think of a cute way of my little boy announcing it to them though

I get those exact symptoms a day or 2 before my period. Sorry 😕
