11Dpo strong BFP but bleeding with clot

Hi got BFP yesterday at I think 10dpo - very strong and instant on test (stronger than control line) today at 11dpo I passed a clot around the size of two grapes. Also bled a fair amount (haven't got a pad and was out and about so quite uncomfortable and hard to tell how much but felt period like) moderate cramping in my uterus.

Got home and took another test and same incredibly strong positive.

Am I having a chemical pregnancy or is there still hope? Any views welcome! Pic of 11dpo test I've just taken while still bleeding.

Hi lovely. Congratulations on your bfp! That's a good, strong line! Hoping I can reassure you that I bled (fresh red blood and a clot) about a week after I found out that I was pregnant with my first and she's now nearly 4! So please don't give up hope! Good luck on your journey xx

Thank you! Aww that's wonderful! Well weirdly because I was so suspicious of the strong line so early I did a clear blue digital and it's saying I conceived 3+ weeks ago which is before my last 'period' so I'm very confused right now, bleeding has stopped and symptoms (sore boobs, hunger and nausea) still here - will contact the gp tomorrow to see what is going on! Tempted to book a private scan at our local place for this afternoon to try and get some answers! Thanks for your lovely response!

Just to update in case anyone stumbles across this thread - had a private scan today - 7 weeks pregnant all good, strong heartbeat and the blood and clots were from a hemotoma that is all but gone now! Can't believe it!

So basically the last period I had actually wasn't one, it was just more bleeding from the hemotoma so further ahead than I thought!
