ovulating day 16- 17 on a 27 day cycle

Hi all

hoping someone will have some experience of this! Been TTC casually for a while but tracking my periods / ovulation for the best part of 18 months. I have a very regular 27 day cycle. I start to see a surge on my LH around day 14 of my cycle. I usually get ‘peak’ readings for at least 2 days. Today is day 15 and LH still shows as peak in Femometer meaning ovulation has been pushed again to tomorrow. Sometimes I will have a surge at around day 18 meaning I wouldn’t ovulate until day 20. Everything I read seems to indicate I should ovulate on day 13 or 14 but mine is always later. Wondering if this is why I haven’t conceived yet due to a short luteal phase. My TWW usually ends up being about a 9 day wait 🙄
Am I being daft or do people have similar experiences?

I ovulate CD16 of a 27 day cycle and I've been pregnant twice. Once ended in MC but the other resulted in DS. An 11 day luteal phase is not a problem

I ovulate day 18 of a 28 day cycle and got pregnant twice. Research shows that it can have a very small effect on likelihood of conception at six months but no effect by twelve months. It’s just annoying 😂

I like the shorter TWW but that’s the only plus!

I usually ovulate on day 20/21 and have gotten pregnant twice ♥️ Carried first through and is healthy and second was sadly mmc. Think everyone is a little different with ovulation days! Just try and focus on CM, bbt and or OPKs if you can!xxx
