If I am ovulating regularly and my husbands sperm count is normal, is it just a waiting game?

Been trying for six months now. I am ovulating regularly (have been using clear blue digital ovulation) and we have one child together who is two.

I am worried because we are both in our forties - sick of seeing negative pregnancy tests!

Yes just a waiting game. Make sure you are having sex at the right time, obvious stuff like that.
Also may be a coincidence but I had acupuncture each time just prior to conceiving , and told the practitioner I was trying. (The acupuncture was a general thing not specifically for that) . I was also in my forties.
