Fertility test advice - London women clinic?

Hi all. We have have been trying to TTC our 2nd for 4 months now. Appreciate it’s not been long, but it took a long time for our first, and we’re now of course a few years older.

i thought it would be an idea to go for a “fertility MOT” and I’ve found a company who does them - London womens clinic (im sure lots of places do this - all brand new to me!)

I suppose im after a bit of advice and some recommendations. Firstly, has anyone had one of these before and found them helpful? Were you given a blanket “keep trying, stay healthy”? or is it worth it? Has anyone used this company before? We are on the London Surrey border.

thanks all

I'm looking into them as well. Would be interesting to see some opinions

Hi, I just had the fertility MOT at the LWC and thought they were great. My results were shit and they gave a very honest feedback and what they could offer. Nothing was pushed onto us. Found them to be really kind and caring. I'm glad I have had the tests as I now know where I stand with my fertility.

Hi @Ninjajay I’m sorry to hear you didn’t get the answers you wanted, but glad you found them helpful. I guess one concern I have is that in a life where we’ve always had access to free “healthcare”, I wondered if they’d push you to take up treatment or present your results in a way which make you think you need to buy, eg the results aren’t that bad but they might make you think they are? Sounds with you that wasn’t the case which is great.
