Pregnancy of unknown location, natural resolution?

Has anyone had a PUL resolve on its own? We think that’s what I’m having. Nothing seen on scan, and my hcg is rising but it’s super low- went from 42 to 58 to 79. I already bled and passed clots 3 weeks ago so my body seems to think that was the end of the pregnancy, but something is obviously lingering and producing low levels of hcg. I’ve been offered one more blood test in a week, then it’s on to further treatment if hcg is still going up, which I really really want to avoid. Surely if it was a proper ectopic pregnancy my hcg would be in the 1000s?
