Indent or start of BFP

Hey guys.
mum 9DPO and took a FRER this morning and it has a faint line. I have to squint to see it but it’s there. Just worried it’s an indent as I’ve heard people have cruel ones with these test.
What do you guys think?

I do think I see something but it’s way too early to be testing. Put the tests away until 12 dpo and you won’t have to be worrying about indents or evaps.

@littlelove23 Ive had 3 tests that are similar to that this cycle so I’m stopping testing until af is late! I feel they’re probably indents I’ve heard so much about them too xx

I have the same exact issue rn except I’m 10dpo. i can see a really faint line on yours when I squint

Wow they’re some really strong lines

This is mine it’s FRER but a different one I think I see a second line but it’s close to the control line which is strange

@Aiss98 I know they’re bad for indents aren’t they! I’m not due on af so there’s a small chance they could be true positive but got a bfn on ultra early clear blue digital so think that gives me my answer!
I feel like I can see a shadow of line, 10dpo is really early still too xx

Im beginning to think mine is an indent. Strange thing is, even my husband can see my line and he normally can’t see a thing!
I know I’ll just have to test again in a couple of days but it’s so hard when you want this so much. I’ll be fuming if they’re indents.

@ChloeN yours looks much stronger than mine! Fingers crossed they are BFPs!

@littlelove23 does it look pink at all? I think a faint positive will have a bit of colour and an indent more grey? I’ve never had an indent until now so I’m a bit clueless tbh, just going off of what I’ve read xx

I can’t see any colour to be honest. I’ve taken so many FRER in my life and when I’ve got a negative they’ve been nothing but stark white, I think that’s what’s confusing me. I’ll test again with fmu and see if I can see anything. Are you testing again?

@littlelove23 mine sounded like yours when I was 9/10 dpo it was just so faint but there… it’s so confusing as some people say they’re indents while others was bfp, think it’s best to assume indent to not get your hopes up though! Let me know how you get on tomorrow, have you got an easy@home to try too? Although saying that I’ve had lines on those too so maybe they’re not reliable either🤣
Not anymore, af should arrive Tuesday or Wednesday so if it doesn’t I’ll test by the weekend. I’m never normally late but I had a mc recently so could be my hormones all over xx

So bad honestly, the indents are so strong they almost look like positive lines. Aahhh let’s hang it then a bit more 😄

With yours sometimes I see pink then when I blink and try look again the colour is no longer there. I think it’s our minds playing tricks on us

I think I see a vvvfl but as always with these things wait 24 hours or longer if you can bear it and test again. Mine did look like this at 10dpo and now I’m 23 weeks but I also don’t want to give false hope. Keeping fingers crossed for you x

For reference clear blue took much longer to show positive!

Guys I’m here going mad so I took the test apart and there’s another line not sure what it’s for. This is on an American frer test that I got from superdrugs in March I think. I wanted to see if the second line was an evap line but then I see this??? So confused rn can someone tell me what it is

Did either of you test again today? I got my BFP!

@littlelove23 no I got my period! I think I might of had a chemical pregnancy, I had 6 positive tests in a row (all faint obviously but like the photo I put on!) but started bleeding today, did a test to see if I got an indent and there was nothing there at all xx

Didn’t test yet, gonna wait a few more days, still didn’t get my period. Congratssss xxxx
